Come and celebrate the connection of the vibrant Downtown and Old North End; two neighborhoods with community spirit, artists, remodeled parks, tree-lined streets, and successful magnet schools. The route is anchored by two community centers, the Burlington Boys and Girls Club and the King Street Youth Center.
What if I live on the route?
The streets shown on the map will be closed to through traffic during the event, except at North/Elmwood, Main/Church and along the Church Street Marketplace. However, people who live along the Open Streets BTV route will be able to enter or exit the route with the assistance of volunteers on bikes. Volunteers stationed at intersections along the route will help direct you and ensure the safety of those participating in the event. If possible, please consider parking your car off of the Open Streets BTV route before the event begins. Parking will be allowed on all residential streets as usual. Thank you for your cooperation and help making Open Streets BTV a success! We are looking forward to a great event, with your help.
